Managing youth with type 2 diabetes has its challenges in comparison to the adult population. Dr Silva Arslanian (University of Pittsburgh, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA) discusses these challenges as well as the effectiveness of lifestyle-focused interventions in younger patients with diabetes.Â
