Diabetic kidney disease develops in approximately 40% of patients who are diabetic and is the leading cause of chronic kidney disease worldwide. In this touchENDOCRINOLOGY interview, Dr Viktor Rotbain Curovic (Steno Diabetes Center, Copenhagen, Denmark) discusses the challenges of treating patients at risk for diabetic kidney disease.
