Stefano Del Prato is Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism and Chief of the Section of Diabetes at the University of Pisa, Italy. He also holds the post of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas, San Antonio Health Science Center.
